Love It! Looks like a 90s XJ sport. I built a 88/89 XJ Limited into the best woods truck ever. Hard to kill that straight 6. All you need to add is set of good coils, a soft set of springs, decent tires and a lock-right locker. It’ll go damn near anywhere.
Watch the rear axle if it’s a Dana 35. If they grenade, the whole wheel and hub assembly slides out. Look around though. Dana 44s were optional on both the XJ and the YJ wrangler. You might find a 44 just waiting for you. Otherwise, stay less than 33s and a 3.5” lift. They don’t need as much tire as you’d think.
Also, some of the transfer cases have a floating pinion that can pull out entirely at max droop. Rubicon Express used to make kits to fix the issue. They had awesome lifts and control arm kits too
Also, on these unibody trucks, a strong winch can torque the whole body. So don’t winch too sideways
Have fun though. These things are so light and torquey that they go places they really shouldn’t be able to get.

Nice. Where do you live on the island? I am from BC myself. Going back to Prince George on the weekend.

Looks good! I have a 95 myself on 31's, 3" lift and 5 speed.
